XRP Tops $1.16 as Whales Accumulate, ETFs Add $285M

XRP rose to $1.16 after large wallets increased holdings and U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded about $285 million in inflows from April through July. The token later traded near $1.14.

On-chain analytics show wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP increased their collective balances by about 2.8% over the past five weeks. Wallets holding less than 0.01 XRP reduced their holdings by roughly 5.2% in the same period.

Centralized-exchange withdrawal data show large wallets accounted for a record 77.8% of XRP outflows on July 22, up from 63% on May 6. On Binance, large holders made up 71% of withdrawals on July 22, compared with about 67% in early May; retail withdrawals fell to 28.7% from 32%.

Daily whale deposits to Binance declined to about 25.3 million XRP from a prior peak of 583 million XRP, a drop of roughly 96%. The 90-day average value of whale inflows to Binance decreased to about $69 million from about $460 million in January 2025. The most recent daily inflow reading was the lowest since that month.

U.S.-listed spot XRP ETFs recorded net inflows of $81.59 million in April, $131.94 million in May, $59.46 million in June and about $12 million so far in July, totaling roughly $285 million over the four-month span. Since their launch, cumulative net inflows into the four funds are about $1.49 billion and total assets under management are roughly $1.06 billion. ETF share-creation processes can require providers or counterparties to obtain XRP on the spot market when new shares are issued.

XRP had been trading near the $1 area after weeks of consolidation. During the recent advance it rose above $1.16 and later slipped close to $1.14. At the time of reporting, XRP’s market capitalization was about $70.7 billion and 24-hour trading volume was about $938 million.
