Winklevoss Twins Gave $10.018M in Bitcoin to MAGA Inc.

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss donated $10.018 million in Bitcoin to MAGA Inc. on June 19, 2026, 23 days after the CFTC joined Gemini’s effort to undo parts of a 2025 consent order.

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss donated $10,018,464.91 in Bitcoin to MAGA Inc., the pro-Trump super PAC, on June 19, 2026, according to Federal Election Commission records. The entries in the filing appear 23 days after the Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced it had joined Gemini’s request to vacate or limit portions of a 2025 consent order against the exchange.

The FEC filing includes four entries dated June 19 that add up to $10,018,464.91. Cameron Winklevoss’s records show $5,006,604.47 and Tyler Winklevoss’s show $5,011,860.44. Each line names Gemini as the exchange that executed the sale and notes the Bitcoin were sold to unknown purchasers. FEC rules require a committee that sells donated cryptocurrency to identify the exchange; buyers can remain anonymous and are not treated as contributors.

The CFTC said its review found the underlying complaint “would not have been filed under current enforcement standards.” The agency cited credibility concerns with a whistleblower account, weaknesses in the evidence, requests for supporting materials that were not provided before authorization of the case, and privilege and relevance objections that limited Gemini’s ability to defend itself. The agency also referenced Gemini’s status as an alleged fraud victim and changes in federal digital-asset policy.

Gemini and the other parties filed an amended joint motion asking the court either to vacate the consent order or to lift its remaining prospective provisions, including a permanent injunction. The $5 million civil penalty imposed in 2025 had been paid and the agency said that amount will not be returned to Gemini.

The June gifts follow an earlier disclosure. A July 2025 FEC filing attributed roughly $1.015 million in January Bitcoin records to the Winklevoss brothers; the newly reported donation is nearly ten times larger.

The FEC records indicate the entries naming Gemini reflect the committee’s sale of the donated Bitcoin rather than a separate $10 million contribution from the exchange. The filings and the dates establish a sequence of events; the records do not show that the donations caused or coordinated with the CFTC’s action or that any quid pro quo occurred.
