Team Falcons Leads EWC 2026 With 20 Event Qualifiers

Team Falcons has qualified for 20 of the Esports World Cup 2026’s 25 events in Paris, giving the Saudi club the largest competitive footprint and the most opportunities to score Club Championship points. The tournament’s main events began July 6; final qualifiers continue through July and could change participation lists.

Team Vitality has qualified for 16 events and AG.AL International for 15. Virtus.pro and Aurora Gaming are entered in 11 events each. Gen.G Esports has nine confirmed entries. Ninjas in Pyjamas, Twisted Minds, Geekay Esports and GodLike have eight apiece. Remaining Last Chance Qualifiers can still award spots in CrossFire, Rainbow Six, Overwatch 2, Tekken 8, EA Sports FC 26 and Street Fighter 6.

The Esports World Cup moved from Saudi Arabia to France for 2026. The Club Championship carries a $30 million prize pool with $7 million reserved for the overall winner. Clubs earn Club Championship points only when a team or player representing them finishes inside the top eight of an individual event.

The Esports World Cup Foundation operates a 40-club Partner Program that provides up to $1 million in annual support for member clubs. Only Club Partners may accrue Club Championship points and share in the $30 million pool. Geekay Esports and Aurora Gaming are not members of the Partner Program and therefore are not eligible for Club Championship points or payouts from that pool even if they place in event top eights.

Final qualification totals may shift after the remaining qualifiers. Team Falcons currently has the most event entries, but accruing Club Championship points requires repeated top-eight finishes across multiple events rather than qualification alone.
