T1 Tops Esports Funding List; Vitality, 100 Thieves Close Behind

T1 leads a CB Insights-based ranking with about $100M in disclosed funding; Team Vitality has $98.4M and 100 Thieves $97.5M, researcher Minoru Toriyama compiled the list.

Minoru Toriyama compiled a ranking of esports organizations by disclosed funding using publicly available CB Insights data. T1 led the list with about $100 million in disclosed funding.

Team Vitality recorded $98.4 million and 100 Thieves $97.5 million. Cloud9 reported $82.8 million, Gen.G $59.4 million and Fnatic $55.4 million. Bleed Esports had $50.8 million, FaZe Clan $41.8 million, Team SoloMid $37.0 million, G2 Esports $34.6 million and Dignitas $33.5 million. Guild Esports showed $31.2 million, Oxygen Esports $20.0 million, REJECT $13.0 million and Talon Esports $7.0 million.

Toriyama is a sports management lecturer at Osaka Seikei University and founder of the Esports Research Group. He compiled the ranking from CB Insights funding entries that are publicly available.

T1 reported more than $60 million in revenue for 2025, an increase of about 80% year-over-year, and returned to profitability after several years of losses.

Total disclosed funding measures cumulative outside investment and does not necessarily indicate current competitive reach, roster size or league status. Team SoloMid left the LCS during a strategic realignment. In November 2025 Riot Games terminated Talon Esports’ partnership agreements in the League of Legends Championship Pacific and VCT Pacific after the organization failed to meet league requirements.

The ranking identifies which clubs have attracted external capital across North America, Europe and Asia and focuses on disclosed investment totals rather than match results, viewership or present revenue performance.
