T1 vs Hanwha Life: Winner Claims Korea’s First MSI 2026 Slot

T1 and Hanwha Life Esports meet June 12 in the LCK Road to MSI. The Best-of-5 winner secures South Korea’s first MSI 2026 berth and a place at the Esports World Cup 2026.

T1 and Hanwha Life Esports will face each other on June 12 in the LCK 2026 Road to MSI. The Best-of-5 winner will claim South Korea’s first spot at MSI 2026 and qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026.

The Road to MSI is the LCK spring split playoff stage and runs from June 6 to June 14. Matches are scheduled in Seoul and Wonju. The event features the region’s top six teams. The top two seeds begin in the upper bracket and play an immediate qualifying match for MSI. The other four teams start in the lower bracket, where each series is an elimination round.

The bracket opens with Dplus versus BRION on June 6, followed by KT Rolster against that winner on June 7. T1 and Hanwha Life meet on June 12. Gen.G will play the Round 2 winner on June 13. The final qualifying match for MSI is scheduled for June 14 between the Round 4 winner and the Round 3 loser. The June 12 winner advances directly to MSI 2026 and the Esports World Cup 2026. A separate match later in the event will award a second MSI berth.

All series at the Road to MSI are Best-of-5. Upper-bracket placement allows teams to bypass early elimination matches and reduces the number of series they must win to reach an international event.

Viewership figures from the current season show the LCK group stage reached more than 1.2 million peak viewers. The spring split recorded a 1.3 million concurrent peak during a Week 7 match between T1 and Gen.G. In the 2025 season, peak concurrent viewership rose from about 1.57 million in the group stage to roughly 1.96 million for the Road to MSI finals, an increase of approximately 25 percent.

Official English and Korean broadcasts will be available on the league’s channels and local broadcasters. Several community casters and international personalities are expected to host co-streams during the event. Match results and live viewership metrics will be available on the tournament’s official tracking dashboard.
