PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1 reached 1,077,552 peak viewers, crowned Pakistan’s 4thrives Esports champion and set a Guinness World Record with 1,224,169 registered players.
PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1 reached a peak of 1,077,552 concurrent viewers during Round 9 of the Grand Finals and set a Guinness World Record with 1,224,169 registered players for the first split of its new two-split yearly format.
Round 9 was won by FURIA Esports and produced the event’s largest live audience. Pakistan’s 4thrives Esports became Match Point Eligible in the previous round and secured the overall title by topping the standings at the end of Round 12. 4thrives earned $62,500 and the right to host PMGO Season 2; organizers confirmed the next split will take place in Pakistan with a $500,000 prize pool.
Organizers expanded distribution on Facebook for the Grand Finals. Promotional streams on that platform for Round 9 generated more than 500,000 concurrent viewers on Facebook alone, helping push the overall event peak above one million. The number of unique broadcast channels for the series passed 300 during the split.
By peak concurrent viewers, PMGO 2026 Season 1 became the most-watched event in the PUBG Mobile Global Open series and ranks as the sixth-most viewed PUBG Mobile tournament in history. Seven PUBG Mobile events have topped one million peak viewers; three of those occurred since 2025. No previous PMGO event had crossed the 700,000 peak threshold.
Audience engagement grew across multiple language channels, including Nepali, Indonesian, Urdu, Tagalog and English. YouTube peak concurrent viewership rose by about 357 percent compared with prior PMGO events. TikTok showed growth in peak viewers, and the streaming platform Kick recorded notable engagement from South American and MENA audiences for teams such as FURIA, Geekay Esports, Alpha7 Esports and ETSH Esports.
Organizers announced the Guinness World Record for registered players during the Grand Finals. The new entry follows an earlier Guinness achievement for the title in January 2026.
