Mobile Legends Launches Pro Leagues in Thailand, Americas

MOONTON Games opened the MLBB Super League Thailand (10 teams, $50,000) and the MLBB Championship Tour AMER (Americas, $29,000). Both provide MSC 2026 qualification routes.

MOONTON Games has launched two regional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional leagues for 2026: the MLBB Super League Thailand and the MLBB Championship Tour AMER. The Thailand series features 10 teams and a $50,000 prize pool. The AMER circuit carries a $29,000 purse. Both leagues offer pathways to the Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026.

The MLBB Super League Thailand was announced in January 2026 and began its inaugural season in mid-April, running through the end of June. The first season received an investment of ฿10,000,000 (about $303,648) to support social media growth, community outreach, team incentives, a watch party program and the prize pool. Ten Thai teams compete in the league, including Buriram United Esports, Bacon Time, FULL SENSE and eArena. The season is split into two parts across the year, with teams able to earn spots in the early stages of MSC 2026 and the MSL Thailand champion receiving a flight to the MSC Wildcard Stage.

Week 1, Day 1 of MSL Thailand registered a peak viewership of 67,220 for the match between Bacon Time and FULL SENSE. The series’ initial audience numbers placed it among the eight most-watched ongoing regional MLBB leagues and produced higher peak viewership than several established regional circuits.

The MLBB Championship Tour AMER replaced the former MPL LATAM circuit and began on April 16, with competition scheduled through June 14. The AMER event brings together teams from North America, Central America, Latin America and Brazil. The field is divided into Group North (North America and Latin America North) and Group South (South America), with eight teams in each group. The top two teams from each group advance to a single-elimination finals bracket. Entrants include Alpha7 Esports and its Alpha7 North roster, Leviatán, 9z Team and LYON, along with regional champions and contenders.

The MCT AMER winner will qualify for the MSC 2026 Main Stage, which is part of the Esports World Cup 2026, and the runner-up will enter the MSC Wildcard Stage. The AMER schedule and qualification rules are part of MLBB’s 2026 competitive framework and provide a direct route from regional play to midseason and global events.

Both new leagues are included in MLBB’s 2026 competition structure and provide formal qualification paths for teams from countries without full Mobile Legends Professional League circuits. Winners and runners-up from these tournaments can advance to major international events such as MSC 2026 and may qualify for the MLBB World Championship.
