League of Legends Leads Week Two of Esports World Cup 2026

League of Legends drew 23.6 million Hours Watched and peaked at 1.48 million viewers from July 13–19, helping push week-two broadcasts to 47.8 million Hours Watched.

League of Legends led week two of the Esports World Cup 2026, held July 13–19, generating more than 23.6 million Hours Watched and peaking at about 1.48 million viewers. The title accounted for roughly half of the week’s total viewing time.

Broadcasts across the Esports World Cup totaled 47.8 million Hours Watched for the week, about double the opening week and 34.4% higher than the second week of the 2025 event. The League of Legends tournament registered 30% more Hours Watched than its EWC event last year. Top teams T1 and Gen.G Esports did not meet in the grand final; their matchup was held in the third-place game.

Free Fire peaked at more than 804,000 viewers and drew 11.3 million Hours Watched over four days, representing roughly 23.6% of the week’s total viewing time. This was the game’s most-watched EWC tournament in the past four years.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational reached a peak audience of more than 565,400 viewers, a 13.8% increase from the prior year. It ranked as the second-most-watched event in women’s esports history, behind the 32nd SEA Games Women’s Tournament, which peaked at 1.36 million viewers.

Dota 2 recorded a peak of 326,800 viewers, the highest for the game this season but 24% lower than its peak at EWC 2025 despite an all-Russian grand final. The Dota 2 schedule, which ran across a longer format, produced more than 15.9 million Hours Watched across the first two weeks and ranked second among EWC titles by total Hours Watched behind League of Legends.

Among organizations, T1 was the most-watched, with its teams generating over 10 million Hours Watched, nearly all from its League of Legends roster, which finished fourth. The EWC Club Championship leaderboard placed Natus Vincere first with 1,750 points after winning Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and finishing second in the MLBB Women’s Invitational. Team Vitality moved to second with 1,400 points after its women’s roster won the MLBB Women’s Invitational. AG.AL International sat third with 1,100 points, earned through multiple high finishes across Valorant, Free Fire, and League of Legends events.

Community casting accounted for 56.6% of total Hours Watched during the second week. Vietnamese streamer Hoàng Luân logged the highest single peak while covering the League of Legends tournament, and Marc “Caedrel” Lamont led community casters by total Hours Watched for his event coverage.

The Esports World Cup’s third week runs July 20–26 and includes decisive matches in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and EA FC26. Tournament results and viewership statistics are available through the EWC Hub.
