ENC 2026 Dota 2: 32 national teams, rumoured rosters

Esports Nations Cup Dota 2 runs Nov. 2–8, 2026 with 32 national teams, rumoured seven-player rosters, invites by national rankings, a three-player-per-club cap and regional qualifiers.

The Esports World Cup Foundation will stage the Esports Nations Cup Dota 2 event from Nov. 2–8, 2026. The tournament will feature 32 national teams, a $1.86 million prize pool and a group stage that sorts teams into four groups, with the top four from each group advancing to the playoff bracket.

Direct invitations are determined by official National Rankings that evaluate each country’s top five available players. Remaining places in the 32-team field will be filled through regional qualifiers and wildcard selections. Teams must follow an ENC rule that limits any single professional club to no more than three players on a national roster.

Organizers have released lists of rumoured and projected seven-player rosters with coaches. Examples include China’s projected group with Ame, Xm, Xxs, Fy, y’ and XinQ under coach maps; the United States combining SumaiL, Quinn, Fayde and Speeed with Sneyking and Gunnar; Poland featuring Nisha with Steq and Exotic_Deer; Denmark listing N0tail, Cr1t and Misery; Sweden listing miCKe, Gorgc and Insania; Canada including Arteezy, Fly and Aui_2000; the Philippines with Abed and Akashi; Malaysia featuring MidOne and xNova; and Romania that includes w33haa.

The published rosters typically list seven players plus a coach, giving national selectors flexibility to rotate players and to meet the three-player-per-club limit. The Dota 2 schedule for the ENC sits later than other tournament titles, and qualifiers for Dota 2 are set farther out to allow teams more time to finalise lineups and to arrange any transfers or short-term loans needed to comply with roster rules.

Organizers and teams will monitor viewership and audience-reach data as the event approaches. Broadcasters and tournament planners may use those metrics when allocating broadcast slots and wildcard invitations.

With regional qualifiers and wildcard selections still to be decided, several nations may change their final rosters before the Nov. 2 start date. The announced rumoured lineups provide an initial picture of potential matchups and player combinations for the ENC Dota 2 event.
