Bigetron by Vitality wins MPL Indonesia Season 17; peak 2.94M

Bigetron by Vitality claimed the MPL Indonesia Season 17 championship, beating ONIC Esports 4–1 in the Grand Final. It is Bigetron’s first domestic MPL Indonesia title and its first Grand Final appearance since 2021.

The Grand Final registered a preliminary peak audience of 2.94 million viewers. Organizers cautioned the figure is provisional and could be revised within 24 hours after final data processing.

Within the MPL Indonesia series, Season 17’s peak ranks fourth among all splits. Two earlier splits recorded peak audiences above four million during RRQ Hoshi’s runs to the finals.

Across Mobile Legends events in 2026 through June 14, the Season 17 final is the second most-watched tournament, behind the M7 World Championship, which peaked at more than 5.6 million viewers.

English-language broadcasts for Season 17 exceeded 250,000 peak viewers for the first time in the MPL Indonesia series, reflecting higher viewership among non-regional audiences.

Both Bigetron by Vitality and ONIC Esports have qualified for the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026, held as part of the Esports World Cup. The Mid Season Cup runs July 1–August 1 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, carries a $3 million prize pool and will feature 25 teams.

Bigetron is the second team in the last four live splits to win its first domestic title, following Team Liquid ID’s Season 14 victory in 2024. Final, verified viewership numbers will be published by organizers once all data is processed.
