WhiteBIT, FC Barcelona Agree Five-Year Crypto Partnership

WhiteBIT will be FC Barcelona’s Official Cryptocurrency Exchange Partner in a five-year deal through 2030 to expand crypto payments and services for the club and its global fans.

On April 24, 2026 in Barcelona, WhiteBIT and FC Barcelona signed a five-year agreement through 2030 naming WhiteBIT the club’s Official Cryptocurrency Exchange Partner to expand crypto-based payments and services for fans worldwide.

The agreement covers FC Barcelona’s men’s first team, women’s team and basketball squad, and establishes a commercial link with the Barça Innovation Hub. Club officials said the deal extends a partnership that began three years earlier.

WhiteBIT, which the company says is the largest European cryptocurrency exchange by traffic, will work with the club to develop crypto applications for fan engagement, digital education and interactive experiences.

As part of the collaboration, WhiteBIT will introduce an FC Barcelona–themed WhiteBIT Nova debit card that lets cardholders use cryptocurrency for everyday payments. The card will carry the club’s visual identity and is expected to include additional fan benefits and future partner offers. The partners did not disclose rollout timing or specific commercial rewards tied to the card.

Club and exchange representatives said the work will move beyond sponsorship visibility to products fans can use in daily life. WhiteBIT’s role includes branding across club platforms and collaborative projects with the Barça Innovation Hub focused on applied technology work.

“Continuing to count on WhiteBIT as a partner over the next five years reinforces FC Barcelona’s commitment to strategic alliances with globally leading companies,” commented Manel del Río, FC Barcelona chief executive. Volodymyr Nosov, president and founder of W Group, which includes WhiteBIT, added, “Our mission is to support the mass adoption of crypto by bringing technology to everyone, everywhere. Together with Barça, we are taking crypto into everyday use for millions of fans.”

The partners said they plan to scale joint initiatives into longer-term projects across the club’s ecosystem, covering fan services, educational programs and digital activations. Additional fan-facing features and activations will be announced during the five-year term, which runs through 2030.
