TenZ joins T1; co-streams put them ahead of Gen.G, DRX

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo signed with T1 in May 2026 as an influencer. His first co-streams during the Pacific playoffs averaged about 12,400 viewers and lifted T1 past Gen.G and DRX.

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo signed with T1 in May 2026 as an influencer and began co-streaming T1 matches the same day. His first T1-affiliated co-stream occurred during the VCT Pacific playoffs.

TenZ retired from professional play at the end of 2024 and left Sentinels. He spent more than a year working as an independent co-streamer and content creator before joining T1.

During his first co-stream as a T1 creator, the broadcast averaged about 12,400 concurrent viewers while T1 defeated Rex Regum Qeon 2-1 in a lower-bracket elimination match. That average made TenZ one of the most-watched co-streamers for that broadcast and placed T1 ahead of regional rivals Gen.G, DRX and Nongshim RedForce in recent viewership snapshots. The co-stream did not move T1 into the Pacific’s top-five most-watched teams overall.

T1 recorded low viewership during the VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 1 Group Stage despite a five-match winning streak and an unbeaten group record. By average viewers, the team ranked ninth in the 12-team Group Stage.

TenZ’s co-streaming history includes higher averages at earlier events: his independent co-streams averaged more than 27,000 concurrent viewers at the Masters Bangkok 2025 and Masters Toronto 2025 events, and roughly 18,200 average viewers during VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1. For the first Masters events of 2026, his average concurrent viewership declined by about 40% compared with the same events in 2025.

Viewer demographics shifted during the Pacific Group Stage. Korean-language viewership declined and reached record lows for the circuit; English-language viewership also decreased but remained a core segment. TenZ’s audience is primarily English-speaking and his co-streams registered English-language viewers for T1 matches.

Co-streaming figures have moved between different creators over the past year, with several broadcasters gaining or losing viewers. How many viewers from TenZ’s audience will regularly follow Pacific League matches has not been determined.

T1’s next scheduled match is May 15 against Paper Rex; the winner of that match will qualify for Masters London 2026 and the loser will be eliminated. Playoff broadcasts in the coming days will include TenZ’s co-streams.
