T1 Tops May Viewership With 16.9M Hours, 11-Game Run

T1 recorded 16.93 million hours watched in May 2026 and went on an 11-game unbeaten streak, making it the month’s top esports team by total hours watched, according to viewership tracking data. The team played 12 matches across two competitions.

Six teams surpassed 10 million hours watched in May, and T1 was the only team above 15 million. T1 averaged 594,089 viewers per match in May and led non-Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams by average viewers; only top sides from MPL Indonesia Season 17 posted higher averages.

T1 began May with a 2-1 loss to Hanwha Life Esports in the LCK 2026 Season; that broadcast reached about 1.21 million peak viewers. After the loss, T1 started an 11-game unbeaten run, beginning with a victory over BRION in the Esports World Cup 2026 Korea qualifier. During the run T1 defeated Gen.G and KT Rolster. Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan set a new record for pentakills. The World Cup qualifier featuring T1 peaked at more than 600,000 live viewers and secured T1 a spot in the Esports World Cup 2026.
