Singapore to host BLAST Premier Open March 15-28, $1.25M
BLAST will stage the BLAST Premier Open in Singapore March 15-28, 2027. The single-location LAN will feature 16 teams, a $1.25M prize pool and a $400,000 acceptance-fee pool.
BLAST has named Singapore as the host city for the BLAST Premier Open 2027, scheduled for March 15-28, 2027. The event will be a single-location LAN featuring 16 Counter-Strike teams, a $1.25 million prize pool and a $400,000 acceptance-fee pool for participating squads.
The company announced the tournament on its website and social channels, describing the Open as its first major arena event of the new season. Organizers said all stages of the competition, from the group stage through the playoffs, will take place live in Singapore rather than splitting early rounds across other cities.
The $400,000 acceptance-fee pool is a newly introduced payment that will be distributed to teams in addition to prize winnings. BLAST described the payment as a way to offset team expenses and provide guaranteed compensation beyond the tournament purse.
BLAST framed the event as a full LAN experience at a single venue. Exact match schedules, ticketing details and the venue name will be released by BLAST as event logistics are finalized. The Open’s mid-March slot follows PGL Major Singapore 2026, which is scheduled for late December 2026.
Singapore previously hosted the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 and BLAST Slam IV. Those events were held in the city and drew local and international attendees.
Organizers said that competitive matches, team operations and broadcast production will be centralized in Singapore for the duration of the tournament. BLAST plans to publish detailed event results and viewership figures after the event concludes.
