SEA MLBB Qualifiers Reach 1.28M Peak, Rank in 2026 Top 10

The Southeast Asian qualifiers for the 2026 Asian Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament drew a peak concurrent audience of 1,278,586 and ranked tenth in peak viewers for 2026. The event concluded on June 21 in Singapore and reached its highest audience during Malaysia’s 2-1 win over Indonesia.

Eight national teams competed for five spots at the Asian Games. The Philippines finished first with a 6-1 series record and a 13-3 map score, fielding a lineup built largely around players from Team Liquid PH. Cambodia ended with a 6-1 record as well and a slightly weaker map differential; Cambodia’s roster included players from Vigor Apex and it handed the Philippines their only defeat by a 2-1 reverse sweep.

Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia claimed the remaining three qualifying berths. Indonesia’s lineup featured a core from Alter Ego, Myanmar’s lineup included players from Yangon Galacticos and Malaysia’s team was anchored by members of Team Rey. Malaysia secured the fifth and final qualification spot on tournament points after finishing level with Vietnam at 3-4 in series. Vietnam won the head-to-head match, but Malaysia finished with 10 tournament points and an 8-9 map record compared with Vietnam’s nine points and a 7-9 map record.

The qualifier is the fourth Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event to appear in 2026’s top ten by peak viewers. The regional event outdrew several major international competitions held so far this year and trailed the LCK 2026 Season by just under 21,000 peak viewers.

The main Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition at the 2026 Asian Games is scheduled to begin on October 1 in Tokoname, Japan, with 12 national teams competing for the gold medal.
