ProCap, Kalshi Launch AI Research on Prediction Markets

ProCap Financial will use Kalshi’s live prediction market data and AI to produce investor reports and trading analysis through ProCap Insights.
ProCap Financial announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with regulated prediction market exchange Kalshi to build an AI-driven research service that converts real-time market prices into investor reports and trading analysis via ProCap Insights.
Under the agreement, Kalshi will supply transaction and price feeds to ProCap Insights. ProCap will apply artificial intelligence tools, including automated debate between AI agents, to analyze large data sets, stress-test findings and generate written research for paying subscribers. Published work will include short notes tied to single contracts and longer studies that identify platform-wide trends, trading strategies and contracts that appear mispriced.
Prediction markets let traders buy and sell contracts tied to the outcome of specific events; each contract lists an event, possible outcomes, payoffs and an expiration date. Prices on these markets reflect trader expectations and allow direct exposure to outcomes such as whether a recession will occur or a company’s delivery numbers without owning related securities.
Anthony Pompliano, chairman and CEO of ProCap Financial, described the partnership as a “powerful combination,” adding: “Independent investors have never had access to a research engine like this. By combining real-time market signals with AI-driven analysis, we’ll deliver sharper insights to help investors make smarter decisions in the growing industry of prediction markets.”
Tarek Mansour, Kalshi’s co-founder and CEO, called prediction markets a way to turn uncertainty into actionable signals and added that the partnership will make crowd-driven data available to both retail and institutional investors.
Kalshi provided performance figures showing its markets outperformed Wall Street consensus forecasts by 40% across multiple timeframes and matched or beat analyst forecasts on 85% of inflation releases a week before official numbers. Kalshi also noted it has not previously supplied its data to a research firm that charges users for access.
Regulatory developments this year include Commodity Futures Trading Commission guidance to regulated exchanges on March 12, 2026, and a March 16 notice requesting public input on a broader framework for event markets. In KalshiEX LLC v. Flaherty, a federal appeals court ruled on April 6, 2026, that federal law preempts New Jersey gaming rules for Kalshi’s sports contracts. The CFTC’s enforcement chief has identified insider trading, market manipulation and retail fraud as enforcement priorities and urged firms to report issues promptly.
Prediction markets saw increased trading volume around the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Kalshi currently lists markets on where the S&P 500 will close on a given day, directional moves in SPY for specific dates, and a range of short-term economic and political outcomes. ProCap’s tools will translate those live prices into written analysis and trading signals for subscribers.
