Ministers, MPs to attend Paris Blockchain Week 2026
Ministers, an ambassador and nearly 20 French MPs will attend Paris Blockchain Week 2026 on April 15-16 at the Carrousel du Louvre to discuss crypto-assets and digital finance.
For the first time, ministers, an ambassador and nearly 20 members of the French National Assembly will attend Paris Blockchain Week 2026. The conference runs April 15-16 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. A VIP dinner at the Palace of Versailles on April 14 will open the week and will include about 500 invited leaders from finance, technology and institutions; Jean-Didier Berger is scheduled to deliver the opening address at that dinner.
Senior government participants listed on the program include Anne Le Hénanff, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, who will open the conference on April 15 in a session with Paris Blockchain Week chairman Michael Amar. Laurent Nuñez, Minister of the Interior, is scheduled to speak on April 16. Clara Chappaz, Ambassador for Digital and Artificial Intelligence, will also appear on the main stage on April 16.
The conference program includes short press Q&A sessions after the ministerial appearances. Anne Le Hénanff’s opening session is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. to 9:35 a.m. on April 15, with a media Q&A to follow from 9:35 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. On April 16, Clara Chappaz is listed for 9:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m., Laurent Nuñez for 9:20 a.m. to 9:35 a.m., and a press Q&A for 9:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Paris Blockchain Week will host former European commissioner Michel Barnier and about 20 deputies from the National Assembly. Named deputies on the program include Liliana Tanguy, Alexandre Allegret-Pilot, Hanane Mansouri, Sabrina Sebaihi, Constance Le Grip, Marc Ferracci, Bastien Marchive, Charles Rodwell, Anne-Sophie Ronceret, Julien Dive, Corentin Le Fur, Félicie Gérard, Philippe Latombe, Belkhir Belhaddad, Annaïg Le Meur and Natalia Pouzyreff.
Organizers expect panels and meetings across the two days, with participants from more than 100 countries and senior executives from banks and institutions. Listed institutional attendees include BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Banque de France, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Sessions on the main stage are scheduled to address regulation, market development, technological innovation and the role of artificial intelligence in digital finance.
The program notes recent French policy and regulatory work on digital assets, including the PACTE law, the PSAN framework for crypto service providers, and preparations related to the Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation at the EU level. Those measures are cited by organizers as part of efforts to develop Paris as a center for digital finance in Europe.
Paris Blockchain Week is an annual conference that brings together policymakers, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and executives to discuss blockchain technology and digital assets. Organizers say the 2026 edition has larger political attendance than previous years, with more direct involvement from government officials and legislators.
