OpTic Texas’ match against Paris Gentle Mates peaked at about 116,000 live viewers while the Call of Duty League 2026 Stage 3 Major Qualifiers averaged 62,184 viewers, a 29% decline from Stage 2.
The Stage 3 qualifiers used a condensed schedule in which each team played five matches. The shorter format cut broadcast hours roughly in half compared with earlier qualification stages ahead of an expanded Major field.
Only three matches during the qualifiers reached more than 100,000 peak viewers. The highest single-game peak was OpTic Texas versus Paris Gentle Mates at about 116,000. Miami Heretics versus Paris Gentle Mates and OpTic Texas versus FaZe Vegas also exceeded 100,000 peak viewers.
Average viewers for Stage 3 were 62,184, down 29% from the second qualifiers and 33% from the opening qualifiers. Peak viewership fell nearly 37% versus Stage 2 and about 38% versus Stage 1.
OpTic Texas finished Stage 3 as the only undefeated team. The qualifiers seeded teams for the upcoming Major in Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled for May 15–17.
The Atlanta Major will use a two-stage format with GSL-style groups followed by a double-elimination playoff and will run a longer schedule with a larger slate of matches than the Stage 3 qualifiers.
Viewership will be tracked during the Atlanta event for comparison with earlier qualifiers and past Majors.
