Matterhorn, ASI Alliance launch vibecoding IDE

Matterhorn and the ASI Alliance launched a vibecoding IDE on the ASI Chain devnet with Vibe-Audit, human reviews and pre-vetted templates to reduce smart contract bugs.

Matterhorn and the ASI Alliance launched a vibecoding integrated development environment on the ASI Chain devnet. The IDE combines Matterhorn’s vibecoding editor with ASI Alliance’s decentralized AI infrastructure and DePIN compute, and includes Vibe-Audit, human-in-the-loop code reviews and pre-vetted templates to help reduce smart contract bugs. The integration is available on the ASI Chain devnet for testing.

Vibecoding generates software from natural-language prompts. Developers are increasingly using AI to produce dApp code, including smart contracts that control funds. Matterhorn warned that limited protections for AI-generated smart contracts create material risk and designed the IDE to add security checks during development rather than rely only on post-production audits.

Vibe-Audit pairs custom-trained AI models with human reviewers to screen generated contracts and flag likely issues. The platform will provide a library of pre-vetted application templates and runtime guardrails to restrict unsafe patterns. Matterhorn plans to deploy the tooling on a fully decentralized stack that uses DePIN infrastructure and the ASI Chain’s native MeTTa programming language.

The ASI Alliance consists of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and CUDOS, which contribute compute and AI infrastructure to the network. Matterhorn’s initial roadmap prioritizes collecting developer usage data to fine-tune models in the ASI ecosystem. The team expects about 1 million model calls and roughly 500 active compute instances in the first quarter of availability, and targets onboarding 20,000 builders by the end of 2026.

Fetch.ai is participating in SoCal Startup Week events and related hackathons that gather builders and AI projects. Matterhorn plans to use those events and devnet availability to stress-test workflows and collect feedback for model tuning.

Abhinav, Matterhorn’s founder, wrote that builders who deploy dApps that handle real money and real users need a platform they can trust. Khellar Crawford of SingularityNET described the integration as pairing on-chain transparency with AI capabilities and said payment APIs, smart contracts, decentralized compute and agentic workflows will sit alongside AGI inference on ASI Chain.
