The tournament featured 12 teams, with three representatives from each of the four international leagues: Americas, Pacific, EMEA and China. Regional champions G2 Esports, EDward Gaming, Team Heretics and Paper Rex entered the playoffs as direct seeds. Eight additional teams advanced from the Swiss Stage.
Playoff results varied for the direct seeds. Team Heretics and G2 Esports were eliminated without a playoff win; Heretics fell to Team Vitality and then to Leviatán, while G2 lost to XLG Esports and FUT Esports. Paper Rex and EDward Gaming progressed in the upper bracket, and Paper Rex defeated Leviatán 2-0 in the opening playoff round.
Sent to the lower bracket after that defeat, Leviatán won consecutive elimination matches to reach the organization’s first international grand final. Leviatán’s previous best result at a global VALORANT event was third place at VALORANT Champions 2024. Paper Rex reached the final from the upper bracket after wins over Leviatán, Team Vitality and EDward Gaming; London was Paper Rex’s second Masters final of the season following a runner-up finish at Masters Santiago.
In the best-of-five final, Leviatán recovered from an early deficit to secure the 3-2 victory and the team’s first international VALORANT trophy. The event carried a $1 million prize pool; the champion received $350,000 and the runner-up $200,000.
By peak concurrent viewers, Masters London 2026 ranked sixth in the VALORANT Masters series and fourth among esports tournaments hosted in the United Kingdom. VCT 2024: Masters Madrid remains the all-time leader for peak concurrent viewers in the series.
The next international stop on the VALORANT calendar is the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, scheduled for July 9–12, which will feature 16 teams including several participants from London. The VCT season will continue with the second stages of the regional international leagues following the London event.
