LCS Spring 2026 posts lowest Regular Season viewership

LCS Spring 2026 Regular Season drew 3.33 million hours watched; average concurrent viewers fell 23% to 52,314 and Portuguese-language watch time dropped more than 75%.

The LCS Spring 2026 Regular Season recorded 3.33 million hours watched across seven weeks, the lowest Regular Season total in the league’s history. Average concurrent viewership fell 23% to 52,314, and peak concurrent viewers declined about 10% versus the prior split.

The season-opening LCS 2026 Lock-In peaked at roughly 185,000 concurrent viewers. Total hours for the split were down 15% compared with the LTA North 2025 Split 2. The most-watched match of the Regular Season was the final-week game between Cloud9 and Team Liquid, which reached 86,608 peak viewers.

Portuguese-language watch time dropped by more than 75% compared with the LTA North 2025 Split 2, driven largely by lower viewership in Brazil. Spanish-language viewing remained relatively steady but represented a small portion of the overall audience.

On the global stage, the LCS trailed several regional leagues. The LCP 2026 Split 2 Regular Season recorded about 3.16 million hours watched, a figure close to the LCS total. Brazil’s CBLOL 2026 Split 1 Regular Season earned approximately 6.44 million hours watched.

Historically, the LCS saw peak regular-season interest around 2017. Viewership rose during pandemic lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 and then began a downward trend from 2022 onward.

Playoffs are scheduled to begin May 22. Streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart has announced plans to co-stream League of Legends esports events, including the LCS finals, which may affect peak concurrent numbers.
