IEM Atlanta 2026: How to watch the 16-team CS:GO event

IEM Atlanta 2026 brings 16 Counter-Strike teams to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from May 11 to May 17. The event features a $300,000 prize pool and broadcasts on ESL’s official channels on Twitch, YouTube and Kick.
The tournament opens with a group stage from May 11–14. Two groups of eight teams will play a double-elimination GSL format, with all matches best-of-three. The top three teams from each group advance to the playoff bracket.
Playoffs run May 15–17 at the same venue in a single-elimination format. Group winners receive byes to the semifinals while second- and third-place finishers begin in the quarterfinals. The grand final is scheduled as a best-of-five. A third-place match is set for the final day.
Teams earn VRS and ESL ranking points that count toward the ESL Pro Tour and the new ESL Grand Slam VII. The Grand Slam VII cycle awards a $1 million prize, paid in gold bars, to any team that wins four of ten eligible ESL events.
The 16 teams entered for Atlanta are Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, B8 Esports, Astralis, GamerLegion, paiN Gaming, M80, FUT Esports, BC.Game Esports, BetBoom Team, SINNERS Esports, Passion UA, NRG and Legacy.
Team Vitality has won five tournaments so far in 2026 and holds the two most recent Grand Slam titles. Natus Vincere has reached three grand finals this year and won one event in 2026. FUT Esports won PGL Bucharest 2026 in April. BC.Game Esports fields Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and recently added Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold to its roster.
During the group stage ESL will run multiple streams to cover simultaneous matches on its main and secondary channels. Community casters are expected to provide additional streams and commentary across the weekend.
Earlier IEM stops in 2026, including Kraków and Rio, recorded peak viewership above one million. An interactive map visualizes peak audience figures and chronological milestones for major events, offering context for Atlanta’s place in the season.
