Hanwha Life Esports’ 2-1 victory over T1 on Day 3 of Week 5’s Round 1–2 slate drew over 1 million peak concurrent viewers, marking the first time the LCK 2026 regular season passed the one million mark.
The series was played late Friday and was the most-watched match of the week.
Hanwha Life secured the win after an earlier victory over KT Rolster, moving the team into sole possession of first place with a 9-1 record and an eight-game win streak. Hanwha Life’s only loss came against T1 in Week 1. KT Rolster sits second at 8-2. T1 and Gen.G are currently outside the top two.
The top two teams at this stage advance directly to Round 3 of the LCK 2026 Road to MSI.
T1 appears in each of the season’s five most-watched matches, with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok featured in those high-viewership games.
Week 6 runs May 6–10 and includes ten scheduled games. Notable series include Nongshim RedForce versus Gen.G and Dplus KIA facing both KT Rolster and T1.
Results through Week 9 will decide which teams finish in the top two and earn direct entry to Round 3 of the Road to MSI.
