Grayscale trims Q2 watchlist, adds AI tokens

Grayscale cut its Q2 ‘Assets Under Consideration’ list to 30 from 36, removed the Consumer & Culture category and added AI-linked tokens including Fabric Protocol, Kite AI and Venice.

Grayscale reduced its Q2 2026 ‘Assets Under Consideration’ list to 30 tokens from 36 in the prior quarter. The firm removed the Consumer & Culture category and organized the updated roster into four segments: smart contract platforms, financial assets, artificial intelligence and utilities and services.

Artificial intelligence became the largest segment, rising to 10 AI-linked tokens from seven in Q1 2026. New AI additions include Fabric Protocol, Kite AI and Venice. Projects that remained on the list include Flock, Grass, Kaito, Virtuels Protocol and Worldcoin.

Smart contract platforms declined to seven tokens from 10, and financial assets dropped to seven from 11. Utilities and services grew to six from five. Canton joined the smart contract group and Helium entered utilities and services.

Tokens removed from the list included Aptos, Arbitrum, Binance Coin and Polkadot from the smart contract segment; Euler, Lombard, Plume Network and Sky from financials; and ARIA Protocol, Bonk and Playtron from the former Consumer & Culture category.

Grayscale retained established names across sectors, including Celo, Mantle, Monad, Toncoin, Tron, Ethena, Hyperliquid, Jupiter, Kamino, Maple Finance, Morpho, Pendle, DoubleZero, Geodnet, Jito, LayerZero and Wormhole.

The Assets Under Consideration list documents projects Grayscale is reviewing for possible inclusion in investment products. The list is updated quarterly and does not guarantee that any asset will be added to a Grayscale product.
