G2 Wins VCT Americas Stage 1; Final Peaks at 254,000

G2 Esports defeated Leviatán to win VCT 2026: Americas Stage 1; organizers reported a preliminary peak of more than 254,000 concurrent viewers for the grand final.

G2 Esports defeated Leviatán to win VCT 2026: Americas Stage 1. G2 recovered from an earlier upper-bracket loss to Leviatán and advanced through the lower bracket to claim the title. Their lower-bracket run included a 3–2 win over NRG, the reigning Valorant world champions.

Organizers reported a preliminary peak of more than 254,000 concurrent viewers for the grand final. The figure is provisional and may be updated as streaming data is finalized.

By winning Stage 1, G2 secured a direct playoff berth at Valorant Masters London 2026 and a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026. Leviatán and NRG qualified for Masters London and will begin in the Group Stage.

KRÜ Esports topped Group Omega with a 4–1 record but lost to G2 and then NRG in the playoffs. MIBR won Group Alpha but exited the playoffs after defeats to Leviatán and 100 Thieves.

Several high-profile Americas rosters will not be at Masters London. LOUD and Sentinels failed to qualify. MIBR’s roster included Erick “aspas” Santos and former Sentinels player Zachary “zekken” Patrone; MIBR’s early exit removed notable audience draws.

Organizers reported year-on-year declines in viewership for the Americas circuit, with 2026 recording the lowest Stage 1 audience to date. On peak concurrency, the Americas trailed the Pacific and EMEA circuits for this stage. A fuller regional comparison is expected before Masters London.

Leviatán rebuilt its roster around several prospects, including Guilherme “blowz” Oliveira and Bruno “Neon” Rodríguez, who won LATAM South Challengers with Leviatán Academy. Several players on Leviatán will make their Masters debut in London.

G2 enters Masters London as the Americas Stage 1 champion. NRG will attend as reigning world champions. Leviatán will travel to London with a younger core of players making their first appearances at a Masters event.
