G2 Esports defeated Karmine Corp 3-2 to win LEC 2026 Spring; the Grand Final peaked at about 562,000 viewers while the split’s average fell below 200,000.

G2 Esports defeated Karmine Corp 3-2 to win the LEC 2026 Spring title. The five-game Grand Final settled the European spring standings and determined regional qualification for international tournaments.

G2 reached the final from the upper bracket. Karmine Corp advanced from the lower bracket after eliminating Movistar KOI in the MSI qualification decider. The series went the full distance, with both teams trading control before G2 closed out Game 5.

The Grand Final reached about 562,000 peak live viewers, while the split’s average live audience finished below 200,000. The final was the only match in the event to exceed 500,000 peak viewers.

G2 showed drafting flexibility late in the series. In the deciding game, SkewMond played Nasus in the jungle, an unconventional pick that drew attention during the closing stages.

By winning the final, G2 qualified for the Mid-Season Invitational 2026 as LEC Spring champion and secured the region’s Spring route to the Esports World Cup. Karmine Corp earned Europe’s second MSI slot by reaching the Grand Final.

Across the split, G2 Esports, Karmine Corp and Movistar KOI drew the largest audiences. Head-to-head matchups among those teams produced the highest peak numbers. English broadcasts were the main international feed, while French and Spanish broadcasts generated the strongest regional figures.

LEC 2026 Spring ranks eighth among 2026 League of Legends competitions by peak viewers. Tournament statistics and match data are available on official event pages.
