Garena announced that the Free Fire World Series USA 2026 Summer will field 24 teams, introduce a new Survival Stage and offer a $30,000 prize pool with an additional $5,000 in performance bonuses, totaling $35,000.
The tournament opens with an In-Game Open Qualifier from May 1-3 for teams across the United States. Teams that qualify from the open event will move on to the Survival Stage on May 23-24. The Survival Stage divides competitors into two groups of 12 and uses a double-elimination format, with five maps played per match day. Eighteen teams will advance from Survival to the Group Stage.
The Group Stage runs over two weekends, May 29-31 and June 5-7. The 24 teams will be divided into four groups of six and compete in a double round-robin. After the Group Stage, the top 18 teams advance to the Knockout Stage on June 12-13. Knockouts place teams into three groups of six for another double round-robin, with the top 12 moving on to the Grand Final. The Grand Final is set for June 14 and will use the Champion Rush format across up to eight matches.
Six teams earned direct seeding into the Group Stage from FFWS USA 2026 Spring: MíA Corp, Vipex Esports, INV Esports, Gaviota Squad, Monterrey Esports and 01 Esport.
Prize distribution includes the $30,000 main pool and $5,000 in performance bonuses. Bonuses consist of $1,500 for the MVP of the Summer’s winning team, $3,000 allocated for teams with the most eliminations, and $500 for teams that dealt the most damage during the Group and Knockout Stages. The top six teams of the Summer season will receive direct seeding into the FFWS Global Finals USA Qualifier in Fall 2026.
Official livestreams will be available in English and Spanish on Free Fire North America’s YouTube, TikTok and Facebook channels. Tournament results and viewership metrics will be tracked and published on official reporting pages once play begins.
