Fortnite FNCS Major 1 Summit in Dusseldorf: May 29–31, $1.3M

FNCS Major 1 Summit Week runs May 29–31 at Dusseldorf’s PSD Bank Dome. Seventy-five duos will compete for a $1.3 million prize pool, with $250,000 for first place.

Fortnite’s FNCS Major 1 Summit Week takes place May 29–31 at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf. The three-day event will host 75 duos and convert the arena into a live esports stage with fan zones and on-site activities.

Epic Games and BLAST will run the tournament across three match days. On Friday the 50 duos that qualified for Major 1 play six games in the Upper Bracket; the top 25 advance directly to the Grand Finals. Saturday’s Lower Bracket pairs the bottom 25 duos from Friday with 25 teams from the Second Chance Qualifier for six games; any duo that wins a Victory Royale on Saturday advances automatically to the Grand Finals, and the six Victory Royale winners will be joined by the 19 most consistent teams after six games to complete the 50-team Grand Final field. Championship Sunday features eight games among the 50 qualified duos to decide the FNCS Summit champions.

The event represents every Fortnite Competitive region. Europe supplies 28 duos, North America Central 20, NA West five, Brazil seven, and Asia, the Middle East and Oceania five each. The field includes 150 players in total. The United States accounts for 34 players, while Australia, France and Japan each send ten competitors. The entry list features 49 past FNCS champions whose combined wins total 120. The top 15 duos at the Major will earn qualification spots for the Fortnite Global Championship.

Prize money for the Summit totals $1.3 million. The winning duo will split $250,000, second place receives $150,000 and third place $100,000. Every competing duo is guaranteed at least $4,000, with payouts distributed across all 75 teams.

Live coverage will be available through Fortnite’s official English-language streams and inside the game on the Legends Landing island. Community creators are expected to stream additional coverage. Fans can attend in person; tickets for the PSD Bank Dome are available online.

Organizers have scheduled social areas, meet-and-greets, interviews and community sessions during venue hours. Exact panels and side-event times were not released ahead of the tournament.

The Major 1 Summit is the first FNCS Major held in Germany and marks an early event in the 2026 competitive season. The roster includes established duos such as Peterbot and Polio and a range of younger players, including competitors as young as 14, appearing on a major LAN stage for the first time.
