Esports Charts adds timeline to Global Esports Map

Esports Charts has added a timeline beneath its Global Esports Map that logs peak esports viewership records by country. The timeline appears under the interactive map and lists audience peaks in chronological order. Users can filter the feed to show updates across all esports or narrow it to a single title.

The timeline centralizes updates previously scattered across reports, making recent national and regional peaks visible without manual searches. Recent entries include Algeria’s new peak during the PUBG Mobile National Championship on April 24, plus March milestones such as BLAST Open Spring in the Netherlands, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series in India, and Valorant Masters Santiago in Chile.

The Global Esports Map visualizes major esports events using peak viewership as the main reference point. Selecting a country shows the most significant LAN tournaments held there, with details on prize pools, championship winners and the three most prominent esports disciplines in that market.

The platform was developed in partnership with Visit Esports and includes a tool to find tournaments near a chosen country and city, listing upcoming events at local venues. Esports Charts describes the timeline as a heat map for brands and agencies, enabling marketing teams and planners to locate event hotspots and identify which titles are gaining traction in specific territories.

The new timeline supplements the map’s historic peak data with a time-stamped feed intended to record new national and regional audience highs as they are logged.
