ENC 2026: 32 National Teams; Faker Linked to South Korea
The 2026 Esports Nations Cup will feature 32 national League of Legends teams. A published roster compilation lists confirmed and rumored players, with Faker linked to South Korea.
The 2026 League of Legends Esports Nations Cup will feature 32 national teams. The Esports World Cup Foundation is organizing the event, which fields national teams rather than club sides. National berths are awarded through direct invitations based on players’ results in official Riot Games events, local qualifiers and two wildcard slots. Most head coaches were announced several weeks ago and organizers say rosters will be updated regularly ahead of the tournament.
A publicly available roster compilation lists confirmed players and those marked as rumoured. France is the first nation to confirm a five-player roster, naming Adam, SkewMond, Nuc, Caliste and Zoelys with head coach Zeph. South Korea initially withdrew but later agreed to compete; the circulating roster includes Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok alongside names such as Zeus, Canyon, Keria and Gumayusi. South Korea has not confirmed a head coach or finalized its selections.
China joined the event late and has not announced a coaching staff. Chinese Taipei is allowed to compete with restricted use of a neutral flag under tournament rules. Several mid- and smaller-sized federations have announced coaches but have not published full player lists.
The compilation contains both finalized lineups and candidate pools. Brazil’s candidate list includes Tutsz, Ayu, Frosty, Tatu and Xyno. Vietnam’s list includes Kiaya, Hitzo, Aress, Dire, Eddie and Harky. Organizers and national federations describe the published rosters as provisional and plan weekly updates until the event begins.
Under Esports World Cup Foundation eligibility rules, Russia and Belarus are not eligible to field teams at ENC 2026; individual players in certain 1v1 titles may be permitted to compete under a neutral banner. The roster compilation is paired with a teams dashboard that links rosters to viewership and organizational reach, allowing tracking of which teams and lineups attract the most audience. Organizers will continue to revise rosters in the run-up to the tournament.
