DSA leads stablecoin, leadership sessions at three events
Digital Sovereignty Alliance led a stablecoin track at Nacha’s Smarter Faster Payments, chaired YPO GLC plenaries in Chicago and co-hosted TRON Whale Night at Bitcoin Vegas.
The Digital Sovereignty Alliance (DSA) led programming at three industry events in late April and early May. DSA was a Gold Sponsor and the lead sponsor of the Stablecoin Strategies track at Nacha’s Smarter Faster Payments, held April 26–29 at the San Diego Convention Center. The organization also chaired plenary programming at YPO’s Global Leadership Conference in Chicago and co-hosted TRON Whale Night during Bitcoin Vegas.
At Smarter Faster Payments, Adrian Wall, managing director of DSA, joined Sam Elfarra of TRON DAO on a panel titled “Market Developments in Stablecoins and What They Mean for the Payments Industry.” Panelists discussed tokenized deposits, fiat-backed stablecoins and initiatives from PayPal and Circle, and covered effects on merchant acceptance, remittances, settlement speed, market liquidity and access to financial services. Wall noted, “Stablecoins are now being used in payments, settlement, and cross-border flows.” He observed, “Efficiency gains are clear, but integration remains the challenge. Connecting new infrastructure with existing financial systems will determine what scales.”
In Chicago, Wall chaired the YPO Officer Education Steering Committee and led the design and delivery of plenary sessions at YPO’s Global Leadership Conference. Programming emphasized peer learning, reflection and leadership development and referenced YPO values of generosity, respect, inclusivity and trust. He added, “Leadership at YPO is built through connection and strengthened by the leaders who choose to invest in one another. The most powerful things happen at the intersection of different perspectives, different experiences, different worlds.”
At Bitcoin Vegas, DSA co-hosted TRON Whale Night at OMNIA Nightclub with TRON DAO and Securitize; MetaMask and B.AI were additional co-hosts. The event gathered leaders from digital assets, payments and financial infrastructure to compare priorities and discuss technical and policy issues.
DSA is a nonprofit social welfare organization that conducts research, organizes educational programs and advocates for public-policy frameworks related to decentralized technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3 and artificial intelligence.
