CoinPoker launches $25M World Poker Masters series

CoinPoker announced the World Poker Masters (WPM), a monthlong online tournament series with $25 million in guaranteed prize pools running May 3–June 1. The series will be hosted on CoinPoker’s platform and follows earlier events such as CoinMillions and CoinMasters.

The Main Event carries a $2.5 million guarantee and a $530 buy-in. It will use a multi-flight format with Day 1 flights held each Sunday during the series and a single Day 2 on June 1. Players may enter multiple Day 1 flights, but only their largest surviving stack will advance to Day 2.

A Warm Up Stage will run in the CoinPoker lobby from April 26 to May 2 to give players additional chances to qualify. Daily satellites and feeder events with micro- and low-stakes buy-ins will offer routes into the larger tournaments.

WPM includes other guaranteed events at varied buy-in levels. A $55 Mini Main Event carries a $500,000 guarantee. The $215 CoinMillion has a $1 million guarantee. The $1,500 CoinMasters Bitcoin High Roller also guarantees $1 million. High-roller buy-ins will range from $1,500 to $25,000, with some smaller, targeted fields carrying guarantees up to $1 million.

The series will run two leaderboard programs. A $75,000 Champions Leaderboard will allocate as much as $30,000 to the top performer. Weekly WPM leaderboards will distribute $425,000 across four scoring periods. Each leaderboard is split into high and low tiers: high for buy-ins of $109 and above, and low for buy-ins between $11 and $88. Scoring will be based on field size, buy-in level and finishing position.

CoinPoker will add a Trophy Cabinet feature to player profiles during the series. The feature allows users to display tournament wins and achievements and to track performance across the World Poker Masters and the broader CoinPoker ecosystem.
