Cloud9 defeated FlyQuest 3-2 in the LCS 2026 Spring Playoffs Upper Bracket Semifinal on May 24, reaching a peak audience of 158,211 viewers. That peak was 30.3% higher than the opening match of the LTA North 2025 Split 2.
Cloud9’s victory advanced the team to the Upper Bracket Final. FlyQuest moved to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals. In the second semifinal on May 25, LYON beat Team Liquid 3-2 to claim the other Upper Bracket Final spot. The winner of Cloud9 versus LYON will advance to the Grand Final; the loser will drop to the Lower Bracket Final.
A viewership tracker reported that English-language Day 1 peak numbers for the Cloud9–FlyQuest series rose about 66.7% compared with the comparable day at the LTA North 2025 Split 2. The Team Liquid–LYON series posted a peak audience roughly 18.57% below the Playoffs Day 2 peak at the LTA event, with lower English and Portuguese engagement and higher Spanish viewership for LYON.
The LCS playoffs use a double-elimination bracket where upper-bracket winners advance toward the title and losers move into the lower bracket for a second chance. FlyQuest will face Sentinels on May 31 in a Lower Bracket Quarterfinal, and Team Liquid will meet Shopify Rebellion on June 1. Winners of those matches will advance to the Lower Bracket Semifinal; losers will be eliminated from the tournament.
