ChangeNOW Moderates NOWNodes Panels on Tokenization, RWAs

Pauline Shangett of ChangeNOW moderated two NOWNodes panels at Consensus Miami on May 6 on tokenized system consistency and whether real‑world assets can reach mass adoption.

ChangeNOW Chief Strategy Officer Pauline Shangett moderated two NOWNodes panels at Consensus Miami on May 6 in the Meet Ups zone of the Miami Beach Convention Center. The sessions addressed whether tokenized systems can remain consistent at scale and whether tokenized real‑world assets can reach mass adoption.

The first panel, “Trust Under Pressure: Can Tokenized Systems Stay Consistent at Scale?”, ran from 10:35 to 11:10. Shangett moderated in her role as strategic advisor to NOWNodes. Panelists included Kwon Park, Global Head of Digital Assets at Crypto.com; Abi Dharshan, Head of Product from Zerion’s founding team; Vidor Gencel, co‑founder and co‑CEO of Solflare; and Philipp Zentner, CEO of LI.FI. Discussion focused on operational failures, data inconsistencies and the point at which such problems become board‑level incidents. Panelists addressed approaches to quantify the cost of a major outage.

The second session, “Selling Trust: Can RWA Deliver on the Promise of Mass Adoption?”, ran from 11:15 to 11:45 and was moderated by Samuel Hood Burke. Panelists represented Houdini Swap, TON Foundation, Paxos and GlobalStake. The discussion examined barriers to RWA growth, including awareness, liquidity, regulatory requirements and whether current tokenization products match user demand.

NOWNodes, the node infrastructure arm of the NOW ecosystem, organized both panels. ChangeNOW did not use the sessions to announce new products; the company attended to participate in discussions about production engineering and operational risk. ChangeNOW has focused its work on building infrastructure that aims for speed, privacy and consistency at scale.

Shangett also appeared at other Consensus events. On May 5 she spoke at the Capital Markets Summit on on‑chain privacy and identity at 11:25 a.m. and took part in a 1:20 p.m. session titled “FQ Trust by Design: Building On‑Chain Systems People Believe In.” She planned to attend a May 7 panel, “The Next Commodity Revolution: RWA Meets Instant Liquidity,” at 4:40 p.m.

Organizers scheduled the panels in a compact format and advised attendees to arrive early for entry. Those not at Consensus were directed to follow ChangeNOW and NOWNodes on social channels for event coverage and follow‑up summaries.
