BNB price forecasts after Binance CEO exit and rebound

After Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao’s exit amid legal scrutiny, BNB slid then recovered to about $618. Analysts forecast up to $1,109.50 in 2026 and $4,807.84 by 2032.

Binance’s native token BNB dropped following the departure of CEO Changpeng Zhao amid legal scrutiny, then recovered to about $617.79 on May 1, 2026. On that date BNB traded with a market capitalization near $83.3 billion and a circulating supply of about 134.78 million tokens.

Technical indicators show BNB found support near $615 and faces immediate resistance around $636. The Relative Strength Index sits in the mid-40s and Bollinger Bands place the upper band near $648 and the lower band near $602. Shorter-term averages sit above recent prices, while several longer-term simple and exponential moving averages remain in sell territory.

A set of compiled forecasts projects a maximum price of $1,109.50 for 2026, an average near $924.58 and a possible low of $474. Firm-level estimates for 2026 in the same dataset range roughly from $755.91 to $990.73. Monthly forecasts for May 2026 indicate a potential range of about $570 to $705 with an average near $625.

The forecast series provides year-by-year projections through 2032: for 2027 a low of $1,356.06, an average of $1,540.97 and a high of $1,725.89; for 2028 a range from $1,972.45 to $2,342.28 with an average of $2,157.36; for 2029 a range from $2,588.84 to $2,958.67 with an average of $2,773.75; for 2030 a range from $3,205.23 to $3,575.06 with an average of $3,390.14; for 2031 a range from $3,821.62 to $4,191.45 with an average of $4,006.53; and for 2032 a range from $4,438.00 to $4,807.84 with an average of $4,622.92.

BNB’s on-chain utility and exchange economics are cited in analyses. The token provides fee discounts on spot and futures trading on Binance and is used across the BNB Chain ecosystem, which supports smart contracts and decentralized applications after the launch of BNB Smart Chain in September 2020. Binance also conducts token buybacks and periodic burns that reduce supply.

Binance has expanded services for large and institutional clients, including a VIP Service Group that provides direct account manager support to VIP and institutional accounts. The exchange continues to operate BNB services while dealing with ongoing regulatory and legal matters related to leadership changes.

BNB’s price history dates to a July 2017 ICO at roughly $0.10. The token reached an all-time high of $1,369.99 on Oct. 13, 2025, fell below $800 by late November 2025 and recovered into early 2026.

Forecast providers and analysts included with the projections note the figures are estimates and not investment advice. They identify regulatory outcomes, exchange operations, market sentiment and macroeconomic factors as variables that could affect future price paths.
