BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 peaks at 364,700 viewers

BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 opened April 29 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, and reached a peak concurrent audience of 364,700 during the match between Team Vitality and FUT Esports. Organizers reported Day 1 broadcasts generated more than 2.2 million hours watched, up over 20% from the 2025 event.

Four group-stage matches were held on the opening day. Team Vitality edged FUT Esports in a closely contested series. G2 Esports defeated Astralis by a narrow margin. Natus Vincere beat FaZe Clan. GamerLegion upset FURIA.

FUT Esports played with a depleted roster after one starter fell ill and the team’s coach stepped in as a player. Despite the change, FUT Esports nearly overturned Vitality, and that match produced the event’s highest single-game concurrent audience.

The tournament features eight teams selected via the March VRS rankings and carries a $350,000 prize pool. The group stage runs April 29–30. Six teams advance from the group stage to the playoffs; group winners receive a bye into the semifinals while other qualifiers enter elimination rounds for the remaining spots.

The playoff bracket is scheduled for May 1–2, with the Grand Final set as a best-of-five to determine the champion.

Team Vitality entered the event ranked No. 1 in world standings since December 2025 and arrived after winning BLAST Open Spring 2026. FaZe Clan competed under new leadership following the departure of longtime captain Finn “karrigan” Andersen on April 20, who joined Team Falcons.

Organizers reported they will continue to publish viewership metrics as the tournament progresses.
