BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City Peaks at 247,776 Viewers

BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City 2026 reached a peak of 247,776 live viewers; co-streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart added more than 70,000 peak viewers during the grand final.

BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City 2026 recorded a peak concurrent audience of 247,776 live viewers, setting a new high for Rainbow Six Majors organized by BLAST and Ubisoft. Co-streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart contributed more than 70,000 peak viewers during the grand final.

The event’s peak was 125% higher than the previous record at the BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025. Average concurrent viewership more than doubled and total watch time increased under the tournament’s expanded three-stage format.

Co-streaming accounted for nearly half of the tournament’s total watch time while covering about 34% of official broadcast hours. Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart generated a cumulative audience exceeding 1.44 million across YouTube Live and Twitch, streaming a portion of the event and producing over 70,000 peak viewers during the final. Other high-profile co-streamers included Eric “Fettuccine” Tong and Rafael “RazaH” Ribeiro, who represented English- and Portuguese-speaking audiences.

Official broadcast channels also grew. Watch time on official feeds rose by more than 45% compared with the prior Major, and average concurrent viewership more than doubled under the new format. The event expanded the field to 20 teams and introduced a Play-In Stage, while playoffs used a single-elimination bracket. Despite the larger field, broadcast airtime for the Major was the shortest on record for a BLAST R6 Major.

On the competitive side, North American team DarkZero defeated Shopify Rebellion 3-1 in the grand final. DarkZero received the $200,000 first prize and 1,500 Six Invitational Global Points.

The next BLAST R6 Major is scheduled for Japan in November. Rainbow Six will also feature at the Esports World Cup in August, where the event winner will secure direct qualification to this year’s Six Invitational.

Organizers and analysts attributed the viewership increases to stronger engagement across both official broadcasts and third-party co-streams during the Salt Lake City Major.
