BLAST Premier Open 2027: $1.25M LAN Event in Singapore
BLAST will stage the BLAST Premier Open 2027 in Singapore March 15–28: a full LAN with 16 teams, a $1.25 million prize pool and a $400,000 acceptance fee pool.
BLAST has chosen Singapore to host the BLAST Premier Open 2027 from March 15–28. The event will be a full LAN at a single venue and will feature 16 teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool. Organizers also set aside a $400,000 acceptance fee pool for participating teams.
BLAST announced the details on its website and social channels, noting every match from the group stage through the playoffs will be played on-site. The format differs from earlier seasons when opening stages were split across cities such as Copenhagen.
The acceptance fee pool is separate from the main prize fund and has been introduced as a new incentive for teams in 2027. Organizers have not released a breakdown of prize distribution or how the acceptance fees will be allocated.
Singapore previously hosted the sold-out BLAST Premier World Final in 2024 and BLAST Slam IV. The city is also scheduled to host PGL Major Singapore 2026 in late December.
Holding the tournament in a single city means teams, staff and fans will remain in Singapore for the full two-week schedule instead of traveling between venues. The event is scheduled early in the competitive calendar and will serve as one of BLAST’s opening arena tournaments for the season.
Organizers will publish match results and viewership figures after the tournament and will provide further details on participants, match formats and ticketing as teams and brackets are confirmed.
