Bitmine Buys 101,627 ETH, Now Holds 4.12% of Supply

Bitmine acquired 101,627 ETH the week ending April 19, 2026, lifting holdings to 4,976,485 ETH, or 4.12% of the circulating supply.

Bitmine acquired 101,627 ETH in the week ending April 19, 2026, its largest weekly purchase since the week of Dec. 15, 2025. The purchase raised the company’s holdings to 4,976,485 ETH, equal to 4.12% of an estimated 120.7 million token circulating supply. At a price of $2,301 per ETH, the ETH position is valued at about $11.45 billion.

Bitmine has set a target of owning 5% of the total ETH supply, a goal the company calls the “Alchemy of 5%.” At current supply figures, the gap to 5% is roughly 247,000 ETH.

As of April 19, 2026, Bitmine’s reported assets also include 199 Bitcoin, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries, a $107 million stake in Eightco Holdings and $1.12 billion in cash. The combined value of its crypto holdings, cash and strategic stakes is approximately $12.9 billion.

The company has staked 3,334,637 ETH, about 67% of its ETH holdings. At current prices, the staked tokens are worth roughly $7.7 billion, making Bitmine the largest ETH staker by volume.

Bitmine launched MAVAN, the Made in America Validator Network, an institutional-grade staking platform developed initially to support its own Ethereum treasury. MAVAN is planned to be offered to institutional clients, custodians and ecosystem partners.

Annualized staking revenue currently stands at $221 million. If Bitmine were to stake all of its ETH through MAVAN and partners, projected annual staking rewards would rise to about $330 million, based on a seven-day yield of 2.88%.

Tom Lee, Bitmine chairman, stated, ‘In the past week, we acquired 101,627 ETH, which is the highest pace of buys since the week of December 15, 2025.’ He added that ETH has climbed about 41% from early February lows and has outperformed the S&P 500 by roughly 2,280 basis points since the start of the U.S.-Iran war.

Bitmine’s ETH treasury is the largest in the world and places the company as the second-largest global crypto treasury overall, behind Strategy Inc. Strategy holds 815,061 BTC, acquired for about $61.56 billion at an average price near $75,527 per Bitcoin, and purchased an additional 34,164 BTC for roughly $2.54 billion at about $74,395 per Bitcoin in a recent transaction.

Public disclosures indicate Bitmine will continue to add ETH while expanding its staking infrastructure through MAVAN to support its treasury and provide institutional-grade validation services.
