Digital Assets Week New York 2026 — agenda and what to expect - Blockport

Digital Assets Week USA returns to New York on May 13–14, hosted by Deutsche Bank. The conference explores real-world implementation of tokenized assets – from market structure and settlement to custody, regulation, and stablecoin integration.

Agenda and format

DAW New York covers: moving public markets on-chain; tokenized private market liquidity; real-time settlement infrastructure; stablecoin & CBDC product development; interoperability & legacy system challenges; post-trade re-engineering; regulatory outlook for tokenized assets globally.

Sessions run as panel discussions and roundtables, with an explicit focus on implementation rather than concept-stage discussion.

The choice of Deutsche Bank as host carries weight beyond the name. The bank has been operationally active in tokenization – participating in a blockchain-based bond issuance for Siemens worth 300 million euros, supporting KfW’s tokenized bond, and preparing to launch crypto custody in 2026 with Bitpanda and Taurus. Its Head of Digital Assets and Currencies Transformation, Sabih Behzad, has framed the bank’s direction as building toward 24/7 instantaneous settlement across fully digitized capital markets. Their operational track record ensures DAW 2026 showcases live implementations rather than theoretical concepts.

The conference typically draws 400–500 participants, curated for senior institutional representation. Past attendees include executives from Bank of America, BlackRock, JPMorgan, Citi, BNY, DTCC, Franklin Templeton, State Street, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and Coinbase Asset Management, among others.
