Blockchain Conference Brasil 2025: crypto leaders and regulators

Brazil’s Central Bank joins Binance, Chainalysis, and FoxBit executives to discuss the technical and regulatory future of crypto.
On November 28-29, São Paulo will host Blockchain Conference Brasil 2025, bringing together Brazil’s Central Bank, the Federal Revenue Service, 100 speakers, 50 exhibitors, and thousands of crypto professionals. The event has grown from its beginnings as the community meetup BitSampa in 2019 into Latin America’s main blockchain gathering.
This year’s edition emphasizes practical discussions on regulation, security, and infrastructure. Bitcoin celebrates its 17th anniversary at the same time, highlighting Brazil’s growing role as a testing ground for balanced crypto rules in emerging markets.

Confirmed participants include Fernando Ulrich from Oranje BTC, Guilherme Nazar of Binance Latin America, Sebastian Serrano from Ripio, Rocelo Lopes representing Truther and SmartPay, João Canhada of FoxBit, Samir Kerbage from Hashdex, Fernando Carvalho at QR Capital, Caio Motta from Chainalysis, as well as representatives from Banco Central and Receita Federal. Together, they will explore compliance, adoption, and technical developments in the crypto ecosystem.

In a pre-conference interview, Chainalysis expert Caio Motta clarified a common misconception about Bitcoin. He explained that Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, not anonymous. Each transaction leaves a public record on the blockchain, highlighting the importance of traceability and compliance systems in today’s market.
The conference focuses on building secure, scalable systems and on practical regulatory frameworks that support innovation. Brazil’s approach shows how governments and the crypto industry can collaborate to create workable solutions and real-world infrastructure.
Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. The event takes place at Expo Center Norte, São Paulo, with a 20% discount for Blockport readers using the code MEDIAPARTNER20.
